The LEGO Organization History

The LEGO company began in the 1950s, when ever its founder patented the popular brick. The brick has tubes inside that hold the pieces together, in fact it is one of the most well-known toys. Subsequently, it has grown up from a small carpenter’s workshop in Denmark to a multinational organization. The company has received a “Toy of the Century” title twice, and it is often recognized by the Reputation Company as the most highly regarded company of 2020.

The name “Lego” derives out of Danish words and phrases meaning “play” and “well. ” The organization began simply by creating straightforward toys just like trucks and ducks on wheels. As product sales increased, Lego began to enlarge into additional countries and formed five sister corporations. Its global reach led to the creation of any number of well known companies, which includes Apple, Mattel, and Hasbro. Its products and brand were a reflection of child imaginations around the globe. It was the first to market a toy manufactured from Lego bricks, and it continues to do this today.

Since sales grew, the Lego family committed to a plastic-injection molding machine. The Lego stone was first announced in 1957. It features two rows of four buttons, allowing for practically infinite combinations. Today, kids can build tall, considerable structures by stacking multiple bricks in just about any configuration.
